tbh I like what we got more than what had been initially planned. It's a very pretty video, but simple and you can see her passion in it. Some of her BTW ideas were just a hodge podge of a ton of unrelated concepts, and this sounds no different.  The one we got was intimate and powerful even if it wasn't the most impactful. I'm glad that she got to do what she wanted with such a personal song.

She's also using her voice to raise awareness for things that matter, while some others are afraid to speak out against racist president, for example, because they might lose fans. 

 

Iconic metal bands want to work with her, she's recognized beyond pop genre. She's a promising actress. Her talent is all she needs and it's something she can always fall back on, when everything else fails. You can't buy that.

That literally happens with any fans from any fanbase...

I love the song too but the vid was sooo lackluster and "lackluster" became a streak after that... And her success and popularity did take a hit because of it. It's a fact...

For the record though, LWYMMD was very well received without the video being out, it's a good song.

Yes, she needed good directors, better management and she hasn't been doing as well as she used to do since AP.

If you are a fan of metal or rock of course you will be biased on that part, but it is no achievement. And yes, the talent talk again, nobody denied she has it.
