also, releasing BTW was the best decision

I don't dislike Venus, but it is not GP or radio friendly at all, and Gaga was not having a good time in terms of popularity and radio support

It's a daily decision to focus on music, love and passion no matter how many copies she's gonna sell or how many views she's gonna hit on YT.

The best decision was not to give up after her first label dropped her. She could have easily quit but she didn't and look where she is now! :tony:

The oscars performance in 2015 was truly a pivotal moment in her career. I feel like everything went uphill after that.

Joanne. A lot of us, including me, was like noooo serve us a disco pop record... but I kinda realized that since I'm a stan, I dont see what the GP sees her as, and many see her as too tryhard/in-your-face. Her biggest hits havent been too groundbreaking (Just Dance, Telephone, Applause, Born This Way, The Edge of Glory are pretty generic in pop standards). So basically, she hasn't had the chance to show the GP that she's more than a manufactured puppet making generic tunes, and she showed that with Joanne and the Halftime show, which showcased her talent & fearlessness more than her "WTF factor". And I'm sure if she instead went with disco, pop, high fashion, then her halftime show would mirror that era and it wouldn't really help her image as much. Overall I think Joanne really helped reduce the hate that was built toward her throughout her entire career, and Katy really needs to pull a Joanne soon. :bon:

Releasing Applause as a single, due to the AMAZING lyrics and meaning.

Creating and promoting Cheek To Cheek, because it healed and motivated her mentally.

I think Five foot Two is going to be something important for her, because it is going to show to the media that Gaga is not only the girl who dressed with a meet dress or that she do things only for attention, is going to show a deep side of Gaga, a real and human part of her:excited2:

C2C...it saved her mentally, physically, commercially, and it really improved her voice.
