PartySick 159,860
Probably to some extent. Though, even if people aren't buying her music, I can't imagine the GP paying dust to one of the GP queen's videos I'm not even a fan and I think Swish Swish is good  It's cute tbh. đ¸Flourishing and vibrantđź
Brian Ryan 1,468
No. Itunes does not always correlate to youtube or even America. How many Americas buy music on the Itunes based on the population? Ever heard of illegal downloading? Streaming? Before Itunes, there were a lot of videos that were played more on television (i.e. TRL in it's prime) even when the song was out of the top 100. Don't hate on Katy Perry swag like they would have money to waste on buying views on YouTube. Lmao. This has been the week of the reach.

This has been the week of the reach. it's known that she buys twitter followers, only 32% are real followers so it's not that much of a reach to think her team buys views as well http://www.refinery29.uk/2017/06/157524/katy-perry-fake-twitter-followers https://goo.gl/xMgMvJ

They cannot go on the ends and out. Who's to say what's real and fake followers? Research barely was done to give quick answers for everything. What does Twitter have to do with YouTube = Itunes? There's always some fake followers... But wait, you're on to something Twitter a free website of Katy followers corresponds to the YouTube. Wouldn't it make sense to use this buy youtube views and buy on Itunes and streaming? Like Judge Judy... says if it does not make sense. It's not true. guyzplzstaph 172
I wouldnt be surprised, seeing how Polish radio stations suspiciously overpromote her.
DeanWinchester 41,390
Most likely. Bon Appetit had insane views but it was massively bombing in sales and streaming that isn't YT. It just didn't make any sense at all and those massive YT views allowed it to rechart in the Hot 100 because its radio, sales and streams were that pitiful prior to the mv Flyin' like a 1000 Doves

Fiona Apple 13,006
Maybe Katy bought views just to give the illusion that she can compete with Taylor

GaGaAst 13,023
What else can you expect her to do. She doesn't have talent to back her success up.. And her label knows she is a cash cow (katy is like mooh mooh).. So they would spend anything for promoting her. I know YouTube views and chart success should not be co related but she given the views her video gets, it should have a sizeable impact on charts too. And i have always seen her as a person with the least integrity in music among top artist. And all she wanted was chart success and fame. Don't come at me. Now to the point. Everything about her is calculated Love it when you call me legs In the morning, buy me eggs
WildAmerican 13,672
It's pretty obvious. If it was a viral #1 hit like Despacito, or if it was 2011 and she was on top of the world it would make sense, but it's neither of those things.
