There's over 300 million people in the US and the debut day record is less than 4 million streams on a platform that has both paid and free subscribers?

A lot of people don't even use Spotify (myself included) I've been listening through YouTube and others through iTunes so I'm sure the number of times people listened to the song are more than 3.8 mil

REALITY

I'd be excited, but the song's just not good. Maybe it'll grow on me, and while I love the pre-chorus and the verses, the chorus is atrocious.

Despacito is about to die and a couple of months from now will be forgotten.  Taylor has saved us.

So, according to how big this song is about to be, despacito wont break the record for next week, right?

The song's doing good ATM because of hype and not because of quality. The success won't be long-lasting, wicked snakes JUST cannot win. :giggle:

Why? It was breaking itunes records. Why would anyone prefer streams over actual sales.

Why not both :staymad:

I think that TS6's 2nd single will be a I Knew You Were Trouble and doing good commercially and crtically.

Basically all of her lead singles is one of the weakest track in the album.
