Ya'll are "we need to save Mariah's record", "someone needs to save Pop", "a female artist hasn't had a #1 in 2 years" (something like that) and the second someone as powerful as Taylor releases ya'll are like "hope she flops". Srsly, did Gaga teach you anything about not bringing other successful people down Preach
bloody g 31,746
I dislike her as a person and as an artist, therefore I don't wish her any success because I want better artists to have it. 『𝐟𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐛𝐞 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐝』

River 116,458
There's nothing wrong with wanting someone to flop, it's a competition after all.. Unless you start a petition to cancel Billboard and the charts and you just give all the music for free to everyone to enjoy without thinking about sales, #1 and the rest.. So sploosh your juice all over me you Riverboy
Enigma 7,182
In what way can she save pop music ? She's succesful because she's basic and writing about love or her exs. If she follows the same path for this album, people won't care more about Gaga, Katy or whatever, since they aren't basic. And if she tries to go outside of the box, she'll flop like Joanne and Witness (Not saying Joanne is a flop (and even if it was I couldn't care less) but it's definitely not the holy album that brought back female pop into the spotlight )
NIghtmareElm 2,606
The top 10 has been dominated by males for almost a year. People on here have complained there is no solo female single dominating the charts. Yet they want Taylor to flop.
juju 18,907
As much as past!me would've loved to see her knocked down a few pegs... it's just not something present!me invests a lot of energy into. If I don't care about a celebrity, I don't care, period. Whether she succeeds or flops, it means nothing to me. Plenty of better, more productive things to channel that energy into. ❤ x ❤

GypsyBabe 22,836
I don't wish "flop-ness" on any artist. Just because I'm not a fan of ones music doesn't mean that I wish that said artist fails miserably, underperforms, and disappoints their fanbase. I think Taylor is bland and basic. Her stuff just isn't for me , but she has fans that feel the same way that I/we do about Gaga. Her music speaks to them and makes them happy. So no, I don't want her to flop. ⚯͛
JusticeforVenus 950
Is it flopping really that bad? She is rich as hell and these days, she seems not to care about money ( a 1 dollar judgment)... I mean, she can swim in dollars. I know she cries when she doesn't get an award, but who cares? She is human. She is not perfect. If she flops. Ok, that is life. You can have a good lawyer but being as rich as hell dont make u the happiest person in the world...

They both have great songwriting skills ,and that's why people still can't get enough of them.
