Well Hair was released as a promo single and it peaked decently plus, let's be honest, it is one of the most radio-friendly tracks on the album. It also reminds me of TEOG, and it's a half ballad, so it could have come in handy in 2011 were Adele made ballads trendy :poot:.

I just don't think MTN could have gone #1 and it would have also hurt TEOG's chances of going #1, and I really wanted 2 #1 hits from BTW :poot:.

And you, my friend, have taste :golfclap: BTW -> MTN -> TEOG really do sound good one after the other!

Hahaha thank you. I think Hair is a solid promo single. I guess the reason I wouldn't make it a full fledged single, in addition to what I said before, is that its production is a little forgettable. On the piano, the song shines a lot more and if she absolutely had to put a Red One song as a single it should be Scheiße because its production is very unique and stands out next to so many other songs whereas I think Hair's gets lost in the mix a little from being *too* radio friendly.

The only great song that would be a terrible single, though, is HML. It's great but sounds really lukewarm live (from what I've seen). As a track, it shines because of how it is done in the studio where it's strange and hard to make sense of. You get lost in the sound in a way that I don't think the live version captures very well. Sidenote: HML and Government Hooker sound fantastic next to each other if you want another pairing; the order doesn't matter, though I do GH first.

I never really liked Government Hooker :poot: but I'm gonna try it :lolly:

I also think that HML is overrated :lolly: but it's still an amazing song :lana:

It's not fantastic which is why I put it first. Sets the mood for the better song ;) GH is a lot of disjointed pieces stuck together and it doesn't really work lol the chorus is dope, the beat is great, but it goes NOWHERE.

Alfonso

If anything I would do it like this: (only adding some as singles, in no particular orden in some albums)

 The Fame:

Singles: Just Dance / Love Game / Paparazzi / Summerboy

Promo Singles: Eh Eh / Beautiful Dirty Rich

The Fame Monster:

Singles: Bad Romance / Telephone / Alejandro

Promo: Dance In The Dark / Monster

Born This Way:

Singles: Born This Way / Judas / The Edge Of Glory / You And I / Marry The Night / Bloody Mary

Promo: Hair / Scheiße

ARTPOP:

Singles: Applause / Do What U Want / G.U.Y - MANiCURE / Gypsy

Promo: Venus / Dope

Joanne:

Singles: Perfect Illusion / Million Reasons / John Wayne / Hey Girl / Sinners Prayer / Dancin In Circles / Joanne / Angel Down

Promo: A-YO / Come To Mama

*Honestly I would make Joanne an visual album, that way every song gets a video :)
