"This ABC News/Washington Post poll was conducted by landline and cellular telephone Aug. 16-20, 2017, in English and Spanish, among a random national sample of 1,014 adults. Results have a margin of sampling error of 3.5 points, including the design effect. Partisan divisions are 33-22-42 percent, Democrats-Republicans-independents." 1000 random people just doesn't seem like a big enough sample to be conclusive. I would be genuinely surprised if 22 million Americans actually think neo-nazi ideology is 'acceptable' What is the difference between somewhat acceptable and somewhat unacceptable? Aren't they basically the same? Obviously 3 percent of this sample's mindset is warped.
