Why are Bruno Mars tickets so expensive?

I thought about seeing him in LA in November.   The cheapest tickets are around $250! That's for crappy nose bleed seats! I get that he's a huge star with lots of hits but so is The Weeknd but even he's not that expensive to see.  Not even Gaga is that much.  I really love his music and he seems like a great performer but there's no way his show can be worth that much.  I paid less that for a great seat to see Gaga earlier this month.  I just find that price insane for such a crappy seat.

That is weird...maybe it's a smaller tour so he has to make it up in higher ticket prices?

i think maybe the demand for bruno is in higher demand than anybody else rn. he appeals to a really wide audience and is still hella mainstream

edit:

he's also like gaga in the sense that he puts on a really good show

He does put on a good show. He is charismatic, a great live singer, good dancer, plays multiple instruments. Plus most of his songs are bops. These days not many pop stars have all those qualities.

Those are resale tickets. Gaga's nosebleeds in LA for her first 2 shows were also $200+. I even saw $500 tickets being offered for meh seats on resale.

On the contrary his tickets aren't expensive at all. His tour grosses range from good to pretty mediocre indicating a matching ticket average respectively.

Ticket prices are all about supply and demand. Look at gaga tickets right after the super bowl when they went on sale, the shows were sold out in seconds and the crappiest seats were $300+

Adele - people were selling tickets for $10,000 for her tour last summer
