What is blowing up a statue going to show? It's still gonna be in our history, and that is how we learn to not make mistakes like that again.

Violent protests (and destruction of public/private property) have been useful in a historical sense (Boston Tea Party, anyone?)  Folks will get violent once peaceful protest gets them nowhere.  

All about peace but am down for the anarchy once no one listens to the peaceful movement.

That is absolutely not the way to go about it. Explosives can put MANY innocent people in harms way...

Petition to get the monuments taken away, sure, but one should not take matters into their own hands and destruct property with explosives.
