I mean sure there are Nazi buildings like the olympic stadium in Berlin ,but there isn't any statues of Nazis or a Nazi flag waving anywhere unlike the Confederate flag in the USA.

I didn't say there was........

Was that nessacary ? I even agree with you in the thread, but please don't reduce someone based on their appearance. Twinks get a lot of **** in the gay community already.

would you be okay with someone saying "That little muslim is so deluded" or "that little black is so deluded"

He called himself a twink in a gaming thread prior so  But I'll gladly apologize and edit my original post.

1. There should not be a nationwide decision made on the removal of some statues and monuments. The power of USA rests on its advanced federal system, so the communities are to decide. If Texas community, or whatever community these monuments belong to, like Dallas or Houston community, for instance, decides that their community wish these monuments to removed, and providing they have legal instrument for that, then go and do it.

Of course many people will be pi**ed off. Every act of getting more conscious of your country's history is painful. To redefine means to ruin the older system of beliefs and it will cause denial for many opposers. But there have always been opposers, so why bother if they are currently outnumbered.

Most importantly, we need to realize there will be communities where the majority of people will express their intention to let the monuments remain. And such decisions must also be respected, because that's what is called a rule of law.

2. I would love to remind everyone of being more careful with the neo-nazi slur. There have been neo-nazi groups in Charlottesville. There have been members of that stupid clan there. And a psycho drove a car into a crowd.

But may I remind you all that whenever terroristic attacks are carried out by Muslims, the first thing the media do is scream "TERRORISM DOESN'T EQUAL ISLAM" and "NOT ALL MUSLIMS ARE TERRORISTS".

Same sh*t here. Not all the members of the right and even far right movement are white supremacists and racists and neo nazi. Not all the people who wish for the monuments to remain are neo-nazi. Just because there were some neo-nazis in Charlottesville doesn't mean all Right-leaning people share their views.

3. I am genuinely intrigued to see how far the society will go in redefining its history and cultural heritage. Because in some point of view, like 75% of things that are considered to be the cultural base and heritage of EU / United States were created by white males who either enjoyed their privilege and were sexist, racist and homophobic or did close to nothing to change the oppression of the minorities and would hardly side with the 1960s and onwards Civil Rights movement :selena:

There are plenty of statues in Germany that 'commemorates' (prob not the best word to use) WW2 and the Nazi regime.

'History' can't just be 'moved'. It doesn't work like that......

Also we are waiting for those statue receipts

Also here is a link to help you find a synonym for commemorates

Far too lazy to find you unbiased receipts. You can find them on your own.

Those statues btw can be googled.

Nice try trying to be shady, but I can use the internet for my synonyms thank you very much.
