even though Perfect Illusion is an underrated masterpiece and it will get its deserved respect in the future, songs like Dancin' In Circles or John Wayne got old really fast while Million Reasons and Joanne sound timeless. Thoughts?

Grigio Girls is underrated, as is Just Another Day and Come To Moma.

Diamond Heart, A-YO, and DIC are overrated.

I agree. Even The Cure is more powerful than those songs :interestinga:

Love MR and AG, could never really get into Joanne. Though I think she has even better ballads. Love PI, DIC and JW.

Ballads. They sound timeless.

The bops in Joanne all felt like subpar to her previous hits. Except Diamond Heart.

I agree the best songs on the album are Joanne, Million Reasons, Angel Down, and Perfect Illusion. So the ballads win :gaycat:

it's hard because Perfect Illusion never gets old for me and I didn't even like it when I first heard it :cryga:

Million Reasons and other slow songs are good but I listen more to PI :saladga:

As much as I love John Wayne, Dancin' In Circles and Perfect Illusion, I feel like the heart of the album are the ballads and are the strongest part of it. She has far superior pop songs but I feel like she recorded these just so Joanne wouldn't be all slow songs.

REALITY

Honestly, I chose ballads because of Million Reasons. I honestly feel like the song is severely underrated, at least, by the people on this site.

Yes, it was performed and promoted to death, but that doesn't take away from the fact that it's one of her best ballads, period.

It was difficult because Perfect Illusion is such a great song as well, and I also love A-YO, but I feel like ballads like Angel Down and Million Reasons edge it out just a little bit.
