I hate most modern pop but there are a few pop stars I gravitate to because of genuine talent and their ability to cross genres. They would include Gaga obviously, Pink, Bruno. Adele is great too, but I don't really consider her "pop". Shakira too, but Laundry Service and her prior Spanish language stuff, before she went completely pop. LeJudas 6,490 Posted August 20, 2017 Share Posted August 20, 2017 Gaga is the only female artist that can do any genre and change her voice to suit it, and she does it extremely well, extremely effortlessly at that! She is a true Rock Star and just because she's a huge artist that sings mostly pop music she has always had undertones of many other genres. So it's no surprise that fans of other music always fall on Gaga, because she is literally capable of anything and it has to do with the fact that she herself is a fan of non pop music.
