Joanne: Non-country genres being ignored

I never understood why everyone is so focused on saying that Joanne is country influenced and why the non-country genres are being ignored. Joanne does have country influences but it also has influences from several other genres. In fact the only country influenced songs are Million Reasons, A-Yo, Grigio Girls, John Wayne, and Sinner's Prayer. That's only 5 country influenced songs out of a total of 14 songs the album. But the album also has soul, funk, electro, Jazz, folk, bollywood, and rock influences. In this case why does nobody say Joanne is rock influenced since it has Diamond Heart, Perfect Illusion,  John Wayne, and Just Another Day. Thats a total of 4 rock influenced songs (just one less than country).

People always are overdramatic and focus on the negative, no surprise here.

If you see me posting like crazy, I'm either bored or procrastinating.

Joanne slays every Gaga album except Born This Way and Monsters are pressed.

We have two selves. One the world needs us to be, compliant, and the shadow. Ignore it and life is forever suffering.

And EDM (Diamond Heart chorus, John Wayne), house (John Wayne), disco (Perfect Illusion), bubblegum pop (John Wayne), Western (Sinner's Prayer), reggae, ska and dancehall (Dancin' In Circles), rock and roll, R&B (Sinner's Prayer), punk (Perfect Illusion), hip hop (Million Reasons pop version).

Yes. I just mentioned the most noticeable ones. But it has many genres sprinkled throughout the songs.

Because Gaga wanted us to focus on a common perception on the album: Country, Raw and Americana.

That's a unique feature considering that Pop music scene at pre-Joanne is overcrowded with randomness far from what Joanne served.

What are you talking about? Lemonade was rejected at the CMA's and did very well at the Grammys.

Sis the post is sarcastic. Of course Bey didn't and neither will Gaga.
