The chorus is the worst part of the song. The verses are so strong, then the chorus comes in and all the sudden it sounds like a song from Disney. When i first heard it, it was the reason I hated the song. I grew to like it more, but I still don't care for the chorus.

The fact that half of the people hate the verses and half the people hate the chorus speaks volumes about the song as a whole.

I haven't properly listened to this album in a while. It's even better if you haven't heard it in a long time. I can't wait to hear these amazing songs live

I've been replaying all of her albums heavily these past two weeks.

So then i can really remember all the lyrics and sing with her whenever possible.

On topic, my faves haven't changed yet from BTW album.

But i did grow more love to songs that i used to think shouldn't be on the album like Bloody Marry for instance.

I know so many others so into this one song, but it doesn't work the same for me until recently.

Hm, maybe the 'four minute long struggle' was intentional. The song is about perseverance.

...No. It's Redone's **** production and if you listen to Nicole Scherzinger's "Poison" you'll easily see that it was just his "style" at the time. Poison shares a lot of similarities in its noisy, overbearing production.

I love the song! Everything's perfect! The reason it didn't do good is because people hated Born This Way, the single, but because of the hype, it found its spot at number one. Judas, instead, got the brunt of the backlash.

Uh, no. You don't get six weeks at number one from pure hype. You get one week, and if people don't like it it falls off. Like Hold It Against Me. THAT was a hype number one.

I personally think RedOne's standout production on BTW is Scheiße. It's not my favorite from him on BTW, but I think it's the least jumbly and the easiest to listen to.

3 points in and ready for more

It sounded too much like Bad Romance. That was its ultimate downfall. Which I think is crap because so many artists continually punch out the same sounding singles and continue to have success with them. Some even make songs that sound similar to other #1 hits and get their own #1 out of it *cough*TikTokCaliforniaGurls*cough*

then sounding like bad romance was obviously not the reason then sherlock

Judas is flawless :legend: It all fits perfectly. The verses, the hook, it's all really... new I guess  It's amazing :sara:

Inside, we are really made the same. 🕊
