Like what others above me said, it's not only about homos-xuality. It's about being proud of your color, disabilities and flaws in general ;) And in some of her explanations for the song and the horns, she said that she always knew she had horns but she wasn't necessarily born that way, she birthed herself to be that way. "The nexus of 'Born This Way' and the soul of the record reside in this idea that you were not necessarily born in one moment. You have your entire life to birth yourself into becoming the ultimate potential vision that you see for you. Who you are when you come out of your mother's womb is not necessarily who you will become. Basically, BTW (taking about the song) would be meaningless. What da ya think guys? Okay, epigenetics is not the environment acting on genes, at all. Epigenetics basically refers to changes in genes, but not by changing the actual DNA sequence. These changes are still heritable - that means epigenetic modifications can still be passed on to offspring. I get what you are saying, but that is the wrong term to use.
