Government Hooker is such a s-xy ass song. It's going to slay every monster at the Born This Way Ball. :worship:

Government Hooker is just a song that only Monsters would be able to be in love with, not non-fans. But the song is just amazing, the beats and vocals.

Not true, most of my non-fan friends think that it's one of the coolest tracks on the album.

The only issue I have with "Government Hooker" on the album is that there isn't nearly enough of the "I'm gonna drink my tears tonight" part.

Miel

Watching this interview she did in Nebraska, she originally considered producing You and I on her own.

I wonder what it would have sounded like. I wonder what BTW would have been like many other ways, like:

-what if RedOne did BTW (:eww:)... (still love u redone bby)

-what if Garibay and/or DJWS did Judas? Hair?

-what if LAG was only choreographer and Gaga was her own creative director?

-what if Judas was not a single?

HOLY **** SHE LISTENED TO RILO KILEY I ****ING LOVE GAGA NOW.

3 points in and ready for more

Marry The Night- Overhyped and glad it wasnt the first single. It didnt have much life and seemed very monotone. Nothing impressive AT ALL.

Born This Way- Jaw dropped instantly, but i probably havent heard it since last year.

Government Hooker- Sex. It didnt really meet my expectations tbh, but it was good. Sad the chorus was only used twice though.

Judas- didnt hear it until like the 16th of April . It slayed my life tbh and then i listened to Bad Romance again and i was like 'Oh...again?'

Americano- I loved it because of how different it was. The spanish, the latin vibe, and in a techno/dance song. AMAZING. Dont really listen to it anymore but when i do its ****ing amazing.

Hair- :fail: Soooooooo chessy omg. I wasnt sure whether i was supposed to laugh or cringe tbh.

Scheiße- Good nothing special. Everybody else loved it though so i forced my self to

Bloody Mary- I couldnt catch my breath tbh. Best Gaga song ever the melody, the lyrics, the prodution. :Gaga:

Bad Kids- 'Imma ******* and i have tourettes....' Verse slay chorus no

Highway Unicorn (R2L)- Instantly amazed by this song cray crayness. I loved it one of my favorites tbh. Still slays me to this day.

Heavy Metal Lover- First song from the leak I listened too. Wasnt anything special at the time, but now its my favorite song and if you criticize it i will ****ing knife you and burn your eyes and use the ashes as a sacrifice to the Queen of Fire :Gaga:

Electric Chapel- Would be my favorite if it didnt have a slow chorus.

You and I-Then :pukey: :dies::fail: Now :Gaga: :music:

The Edge of Glory- this is the end of me. I have been slayed.

Bonus Tracks:

They all suck so :nails: BJ is okay the other two

No

1. Marry The Night

I was quite disappointed with this song. When she revealed the title through an interview with Seacrest, and said that it was "one of her favourites" from the album, I got my hopes high. In fact, I thought her choice of words for the title was plain genius. On my first listen (on Farmville), I was only impressed with the first 38 seconds. Beyond that, I hated it. Beats sound too '80s, chorus hurts my ears, and sick of the fact that she's pulling another "Ma-ma-ma-marry" like "Ale-alejandro" or "P-p-p-p-p-poker face". I felt the instrumental after 3:30 didn't fit the song, completely; but ever since the single dropped, that part was the sole reason why I replayed the entire song like mad.

2. Born This Way

"Seriously?" When the radio station primiered her song, I thought Gaga was trying to troll us all. I thought she released a "fake" song, and that the "real" deal was going to come shortly after. Apparently, it didn't. I had to let that song grow on me. Even until now, there's a part of me that doesn't like that song. And the music video was so horrible. Cough. :ohno:

3. Government Hooker

Weeks before the Muggler show, there was an instrumental which was on YT, claiming that it was a "leak" for GH. Some of you might remember this as "Holy Hooker", or "Hooker On A Church Corner". I liked the title, but the leaked instrumental was just :legend: . Kept my hopes high for the official song to drop. When the remix for Muggler came out, I was like "whuttt". It sounded completely different from the leak. Since the version that they previewed during the show was a "remix" version, I thought the official one would sound completely different. Turns out that it was the same. And I hated the "As long as I'm your hooker", because to me, it just ruins the entire atmosphere of the song. It sounded too happy to be in that dark mess.

4. Judas

FLAWLESS. FLAWLESS. :legend: This was the reason why I hadn't completely given up hope. I hated the sound of Born This Way, and dreaded that the rest of the album wouldn't sound like it (which later, did). I wanted the entire album to sound like Judas. Sigh. Video was perfect. Loved the angles, loved the colours. Love it, love it, LOVE IT.

5. Americano

I was very pleased with the acoustic version of her song during the MB Tour in Mexico. I kept my hopes VERY high when she described the song as "mariachi-techno". When I first heard the actual one, I was VERY disappointed. The vocals for the chorus were so LQ. Instrumental was horrible, repetitive, and the beats were the same throughout.

6. Hair

Didn't really hate the song, but I didn't really like it either. I thought it was OKAY, knowing that the rest of BTW was going to sound like BTW. I found this better than BTW. Don't like it when she strains her vocals after "All the glory that I bare", when she sings "I'M MY HAIIIRRRRRRR-EEEYEAH-EEEEYEAH" four times.

7. Scheisse

Hated the Muggler remix, but this version raised my hopes a little for the rest of the tracks of the album. I liked the chorus a lot, but somehow it seemed soft. Probably the best song after Judas.

8. Bloody Mary

It had to grow on me, but I liked it. I thought she totally killed it at the "GAAA-GAAAA". So much win. But I thought she could've done so much more at the "dum-dum, da dee dah".

9. Bad Kids

Hate. Hate. HATE. One of my least played songs on the album. The intro sucked. She sounded like she forced her vocals on this one. She didn't sound natural at all at the chorus. Hated the verses. I was like "why the hell"-ing all day at the lyrics. "I'm a twit." I'm a nerd." "I'm a brat." YES, CACA. WE ALL KNOW THAT, STOP STABBING YOUR OWN FOOT.

10. Highway Unicorn

The first 14 seconds of "WE CAN BE STRONG" blew me away, but after that I was disappointed. I hated the outro of this song. The drums snares and the hihats sounded so '80s. And to believe that REDONE co-produced this is just

11. Heavy Metal Lover

Recognized the instrumental for GGV. Hated it. Vocals sounded so LQ. The entire song itself sounded so weak. Couldn't believe that Gaga actually said that all the songs on the album were "single-worthy". To me, it was a filler.

12. Electric Chapel

Disappointing, at first listen. Something was missing from this song. Her vocals sounded so '80s Japanese poprock. Disliked the lyrics for the chorus.

13. You and I

Blown away. :legend: > Live version

14. The Edge of Glory

Read about this from articles. Loved the title. Loved the concept. HATED THE INSTRUMENTALS. The two drum kicks at the front didn't sound like a heartbeat at all. Overall instrumental sounded very horrible. I hated the synths. I hated it all. Worst song on the album at first listen, TBQH. Sex solo and her vocals were spot on, but it didn't do any justice to the instrumental because the damage was already so horrid. Hate the snares. Hate the hihats. There's just so much hate. Couldn't choose which one to hate more, Bad Kids, or EOG.

Overall, I was very disappointed with the entire album. It took me months to let the songs grow on me. However, it's all the imperfections that make this album so fresh and different.
