The videos of this era have been iconic, in my opinion more than Telephone, Paparazzi or Bad Romance. Most of them have been directed by Gaga herself and that makes the videos really special and personal.

*shakes head* :fail: That's what you guys get for listening to the remix over and over again! Next time she releases a remix of a song beforehand, DON'T LISTEN TO IT NON-STOP. If the album version sounds different at all, you're almost guaranteed to be disappointed.

Not true in my case. I never liked GH just because it always sounded like a **** song. However, I was extremely happy with the end product of Scheisse. Remixes are generally awful compared to the mother song (in my opinion) so I usually pay no mind to a remix if I hear it before the actual song.

I get how very, let's say, "joyful" teenagers could like it. But I like Gaga for her more serious songs, and I absolutely hate bubbly, my little pony music. To put it very bluntly.

It's just meant for a very specific, young audience.

I like the song, but the only lyric I can relate to is "I want lots of friends who invite me to their parties" :flop: who doesn't want that?

I think I'm probably the only person who doesn't like the pre-chorus. Just too cheesy, immature and desperate. You shouldn't beg people to love you - if they don't, then screw them. :pukey: The chorus, however, makes up for it with it's pure rebelious-ness and care-free attitude.

I get what you're saying, but I think she was going for this teenage kid who doesn't fit like she did. And all that person wants is friends. Isn't that how we all felt as teens? I also love the song! Inspiring!

I think the chorus is quite easily relatable...something about is very simple, but very deep at the same time. Unlike the verse lyrics, you don't have to be 9 to relate to the chorus.

You and I, for example, has a very complex story, but it's too intricate to be deciphered easily.

I agree, but there was a discussion once that it was intentionally... er, not easily decipherable. Like it was made for interpretation or something.

idk, the original plot line is that she's a robot looking for her loved one, and she hits a fork in he road that leads to multiple realities (and in the end she runs to a certain one, I'm guessing Yuyi's). Or something. It's like there were so many different metaphors in the video that it's kind of hard to find the core (or any core).

3 points in and ready for more

I agree a lil bit, Marry The Night has that epic momment (the whole video) but Yoü And I & The Edge Of Glory don't! but anyway, th music in this era is so good and I love the fashion, even with that problem in the videos, is the best era!

BTW is a masterpiece like MTN! Judas is really good.

I bet you that if they never said that those videos were directed by the Haus and slapped on a "Professional"'s name the reactions would be different...

I agree with you. They don't need an epic storyline, but they need a climax.

Judas has it, when she points Judas with the lipstick gun and the whole betrayal happens, it's amazing

Born This Way, The Edge of Glory and Yoü and I doesn't have it.

Mary The Night kind of does, when some scenes of her struggling to become famous are flashing.
