Surprisingly The Prismatic Tour (204M) did well but what about her other tours? Look a 'California Dream Tours', that period she was on the top. Hits after hits. Which I assumed was because of venue size and ticket prices. Gaga was bringing about 20,000 (avg of 25,000 she did stadiums so some were increasingly more for BTWB) in attendance and making an average of $1,000,000 (sometimes avg of $2,000,000 for BTWB) a night for the Monster Ball and Born This Way Ball. Also comparing the California Dreams tour stage: To the slightly elaborate Monster Ball stage: And the definitely elaborate Born This Way Ball stage: I can see why prices would be lower and venues smaller. Also when Katy came to LA she performed at the Microsoft Theater (known as the Nokia Theater back then) But when Gaga came to LA she not only did the Nokia Theater for Monster Ball 1.0 but did the Staples Center twice in 2010 and 2011 for the Monster Ball revamp.
