Katy Perry Postponed Her Tour Because Absolutely NO1 Is Buying Tickets

Absolutely hilarious. When I saw the above Tweet this morning, my spidey senses started tingling. I’ve never heard of “unavoidable production delays”. They just don’t exist. I immediately knew there was more to the story. I just knew it. So I searched “Katy Perry Tour” in Twitter search, and what did I find….

 

Lol. Amazing. But then I started digging deeper. So I headed on over to Ticketmaster to do some investagatory journalism- just how bad are ticket sales? Let’s say…..on a Saturday night in Boston?

There’s no production delays. None at all. Just a stage that looks like a sad, flaccid **** and absolutely no ticket sales. No fans. Her new album was a FLOP of epic proportions. She had to live stream her life to get people to pay attention to her and all it did was let Taylor Swift stunt all over her even more. And now she is trying to play arenas and every single show has THOUSANDS upon thousands upon thousand of tickets still available.

Why must we shame Katy for this? Does this make you any better then the Katy fans during ARTPOP? 

 

Im personally enjoying her current era, especially the WWW. And will be going to her Toronto date, which there are 2 of, and most tickets are selling above face value.

I just don't see why there is this vendetta against Katy's less than stellar tour and album sales. I'm not even a fan of Katy but this happens to every musician atleast once in their career. 3 years ago it was happening to gaga with ARTPOP and the artrave and katy was on top with her album and tour.... Now the roles have reversed.

I know people like to **** on Katy here - but for real. I can't believe her tour is doing poorly - she may not be the same caliber as Gaga or Beyoncé in show stopping routines and set ups - but she isn't going to be putting on a crappy show - her tickets I'm sure are worth the money and the music isn't awful. I just don't get why people really wouldn't want to go see her? Especially if they can get a good deal and not get scalper priced tickets.

No, the blue means there are seats available in that section so according to that particular date, there are available seats in every section of the arena. Not good
