Fergie (born Stacy Ann Ferguson, in LA, March 27th, 1975) is an American singer, songwriter and actress, known for being the female vocalist for the famous hip-hop/electronic band The Black Eyed Peas, with whom she has released 4 albums and achieved huge worlwide success. Her debut solo record 'The Dutchess' (2006) was a major commercial success worlwide, spawning three #1 singles and other two top 5 hits, setting by then the record for the most multi-platinum songs from one album. It went on to become one of the best-selling albums of 2006/7 selling 7.2M copies and 29M singles all around the world and established her as a successful solo artist. In 2017, she released her sophomore solo album 'Double Dutchess', a visual album containing music videos for all the songs, which gave her another top 20 debut on the Billboard 200.
