Anyway to enlighten you about friends in high places and jail. So you must know about the American recession in 08/09. You know that nobody went to jail for that? Because a guy (i forget this guys exact position but he was high in like he justice system) was from wall street and was buddy buddy with everyone. And he didn't prosecute anyone!!! So there lol

Girl bye trump stans always using the same dusty phrases and rhetoric. most of europe is not like the us, we actually want to learn about the world and global politics. 

What I do know that affects the world is that Trump made the U.S. withdraw from the Paris agreement (a global system) which Clinton would not have done so she's already 100x better than him.

I tell people on this forum that I voted for Trump and they immediately think im evil. They dont take the time to even hear out my reasoning and just decide to label me as racist or whatever. No other candidate appealed to my interests. All the democrats were far too liberal and nothing they provided were economically promising. Im an actuary. I know insurance and the business world. Of course im going to vote for the business man. Idealistically i would want Trump's economic aspects but a democrats social aspects. Thats kinda what the democrats used to represent but now theyre so left they don't stand a chance.

Okay Im done discussing this with you. You just hone in on something and attack me. While I've been providing fair and reasonable responses on my thoughts

I don't think you're evil because you voted Trump.

And while I do see the business aspect (which he lies about a lot post election), I personally don't think that's a reason to tolerate so much of everything else he's said.

I mean some people voted for Trump and probably thought he was going to change stuff for the better. I’ve learned fighting or “excuse me no-ing” isn’t going to help anything. When he got elected I was depressed but had hope maybe he might turn this out and surprise us but as we’ve seen that’s totally not going to be the case. I’m not defending trump supporters but I think attacking them from the jump isn’t helping anyone

Well yeah that line is fair and reasonable cause they're are actual articles about her laundering money, approving a mission that she had no idea about that cost soldiers lives. Those are two examples.

I don't believe in labeling people as evil for a political vote. If you hadn't said anything, I wouldn't have known who you voted for anyways. Why should I treat or look at you differently just because you voted for Trump? It's silly. Everyone had their reasons for voting a certain way, and I think there are many Trump voters who voted for economic reasons. 

You've always seemed pretty cool.

But Trump is a demonstrably awful businessman. Yes, he is rich, but not because of the great merits of his businesses, in fact its the opposite. He's a con man that was born rich, made notoriously bad business decisions, bailed himself out after scamming others, and has shown a severe lack of understanding of ethics and other basic concepts   

I'd also like to point out that during the primaries and the election, Trump had very few actual policies, just talking points, some of which were factually impossible according to economists and or based on inaccuracies and falsehoods. Some were even blatantly unconstitutional. So like, what are your interests, and how did Trump actually pique them considering he barely had any realistic or even honest (as in that he intends to carry out) proposals ? The ones he did have were more about business than the whole of the economy, and many of the approaches were totally considered regardless of context, which is irresponsible to say the least  

While you are allowed to disagree, I think the vast majority of people here believe that equality of people of all races, genders, sexual orientations, class, etc. is a much more noble and moral goal than expanding the wealth of business - especially when accomplishing that tends to have directly negative effects on very large numbers of people. It is fine to value economic policy, but I think people simply want you to understand that you (and likely several others) valued these economic policies to the point that they superceded protecting rights and bettering the lives of millions of people. As in, Trump espoused blatant racism, sexism, bigotry, etc. and said "this is okay" but he gets a pass because he might make the rich richer? He's certainly not doing much at all about the state of jobs, foreign and domestic, unemployment, minimum wage, etc so what else can it be other than what hes directly stated? This comes off as "you simply don't care about the lives of people that are different from yourself" to people.

This is just the sentiment - of why people may think you are "evil". Not my personal feelings
