KleinGa 18,177 Posted August 15, 2017 Share Posted August 15, 2017 Okay, so all the GOT fans here (I know you exist) and have seen the last episode, I've got a thought that has sparked contentious debate across the internet about an event that took place in the last episode. Spoilers ahead: In the last episode, we see Dany offering the remaining Lannister and Tarly forces a choice ('choice' being used lightly here) to bend the knee or die. We see Dickon and his father face the wrath of Drogon as they were burned alive. Now, people are saying that Dany is turning into her father, Mad King Aerys . and Tyrion and even Jon Snow is clearly not pleased with her decisions . So, uhm, explain to me: how is she acting like her father? This is a war, people die. There was a battle and after some men refused to serve the victrix of that battle, therefore she rightfully executes them. No one batted an eye when Jon took back Winterfell and killed thousands of innocent men, no one called Sansa crazy when she fed Ramsey to his dogs... so why is Dany being labelled as "crazy" for making a decisive decision? Those men were traitors of the highest order and have just previously wiped out an entire house. Also, Dany burning them alive is the same as what her father used to do with wildfire? Bitch where? He burned people alive with wildfire for pleasure and not really because they committed a crime or whatever. Did you see pleasure in Dany's eyes? I didn't Can yall enlighten me? I mean this is coming from the same fans that stan for Stannis. You know, the guy who helped give birth to a shadow demon to kill his brother. The guy who watched as his daughter screamed in agony and burned to death just so he could have better luck in his next battle. It's very hypocritical.
