All I am saying is that it's important for people to hear the president condemning racism. Yes it might not be the most sincere, but it's a step in the right direction. Chill.

If you think Trump actually cares, then you need to look at reality. It's not a step in any direction if he doesn't take any real action. Republicans care so much about our military. Hundreds of thousands died fighting the Nazis. This is a disgrace to our country and the world. Something has to be done. And it certainty isn't going to be done by some late, half assed comment that compares Nazis and white supremacists to everyone else in this country. That's what he said. I'm not going to be chill. This isn't okay.

I am not saying I think he's sincere or that he actually cares, but he has a responsibility to condemn racists which he did. 

Maybe this message will speak to someone. Could it have been more and sooner, yes of course, but what could he have said that would have satisfied everyone?

Also, the reason why people aren't giving a **** about Trump's comments is because Trump is a hypocrite. He always came after Obama for not calling terrorists, Islamic Terrorists, and not doing enough to condemn their actions. Well here we are with Trump not doing a thing. He can spout all the nonsense he wants, but at the end of the day he won't actually take action and he'll just do something completely out of left field like banning trans people.
