I like it a lot, but I don't think so, there are a few songs there that sounds like pure filler

... and now i just sit in silence.

I mean, I love Rainbow a lot, idk what to say.

Some of us stan more than one person and that's okay. Just gotta wait for the nominations to be released I guess. Who knows, maybe Joanne and Rainbow will both be snubbed. :gum:

I totally get what you're saying, I just can't really think of any albums this year that could compete except for DAMN., Melodrama, Pure Comedy, and Lust For Life. All great albums, still think Rainbow needs at the very least, one.

Not saying I know for a fact that she'll get one, I'm just a very hopeful stan, backed with good critic scores. :bon:

Don't forget Flower Boy :diane:

OT: I'd say that as of now Rainbow is my 5th favorite album of the year, with Melodrama, DAMN., Flower Boy and Lust For Life ahead of it. However, I just listened to Ctrl by SZA for the first time and I was impressed, so that might take  my fifth spot. But yes, Rainbow is a great album, I didn't like it the first two listens but it really clicked for me during the third listen.

There are many songs I didn't like (looking at you Godzilla, spaceships, and Bastard) but the good ones are GOOD. Praying, Learn to let go, Hymn, Woman, Finding You, and the best song on the album, Rainbow. All masterpieces.

I think sonically, Joanne is the best album out of the pop category.  Melodies, vocals, instrumentation, etc. Melodrama might be second.

It's not the best in any category this year so no.

Thank God somebody smart. Album is ok, but nothing more, little boring...I'm happy that she came back to music, but you overestimate her. I've been listening to the album, ist ok, but i dont want to listen it again.

It's the first Kesha's album since the revamp of her public image. Honestly, I don't think people will be talking about this album in like 4 weeks. It's not a bad album, but not an excellent one.

Rainbow does indeed have some misses on the album but it deserves a nomination waaay over Lust for Sleep and Melanoma.

If it wasn't a comeback album nobody would talk about it and she'd be praised for Praying at best. What she went through is a thing, but her music is another one... :madge:
