The situation there is dire, and I think intervention is needed...but on the otherhand the USA meddles in way too many affairs :awkney:

Wait what's happening in Venezuela

It's becoming a dictatorship, they are on the brink of civil war.

it's becoming necessary but I'd rather UN Peacekeeping forces head into and intervene than the US tbh

this became a dictatorship many years ago, it's just that other countries have decided to do something now, but this has been considered a dictatorship since 2013.

I'm from Venezuela and the situation here is really hard

True. Especially now that they literally have all the control.

Does his base really support this? I thought they were against nation-building out side of the USA.

Good I hope they do something about this country. It's so sad that I'll have to leave my family this month to seek a better future thanks to this stupid government. :/

I find it interesting the US decides to 'meddle' in countries on the other side of the world, like Vietnam, Afghanistan, Syria, Iraq, and others, when big problems are right next door! And they never meddle next door (not visibly).

When I learned more people had died in Mexico's drug war than in the War in Afghanistan (and over a shorter period as well!) I posted to another forum that America should send in the troops to end these cartels. I was sure Mexico would appreciate help...

Let's just say the suggestion wasn't popular!

Not sure about the last part... Mexican Army and Mexican Air Force have zero tanks, zero attack helicopters, zero bombers, and 3 (three) 1970s-era fighter jets :giggle:

In any case, I think it's absurd to talk about US military intervention in Venezuela at this point :rip:
