you can highlight parts of my post and an option "Quote this" should appear, which would allow you to quote parts of my post (instead of the whole) and reply only to the quoted part, and then do it again on other parts. It makes it easier for me to reply after :poot:

Omg I had no idea. What other GGD secrets are there? :sharon:

Basically I guess because they had their own big bads to fight :poot: There were some throwaway lines here and there explaining that each team has their own hands tied or something like that iirc

There were just a few instances in which it seemed crazy that they didn't seek out each others help. Specifically with Glory. If protecting Dawn was so important to her, it boggles my mind that she would not reach out to Angel for help. She had no issue calling him about Joyce.

By the way, going back to your concerns on the Hellmouth being different everytime it opens in Buffy, the answer is kind of a cop out but really, it's basically just magic. Pocket dimensions exist, so it's not too far-fetched as to why the entire underground have all sorts of sunken temples, churches, sewage system etc. And I think the Initiative is below UC Sunnydale, not the Sunnydale high. Also, the whole of Sunnydale is a hellmouth, it could just be that there are several access points throughout the city.

Wouldnt Team Angel have been on Pylea around this time?

Sorta. I mean, as they got back, Willow was in the hotel to let them know of Buffy's death. But I feel like there had to have been at least a day or two before the trip to Pylea that they could have reached out about Glory. They were researching her for months.

@Doot @DeanWinchester So what is your "go to" episode of Buffy? Mine is Fool For Love

I think it is one of the best episodes of the whole series. Beautifully acted, written, and perfectly paced.

Fool For Love is an awesome episode, and I think the ending perfectly demonstrated that while Spike loved Buffy, he was still evil. He was ready to blow her away with a shot gun :laughga:

My Go-To episode is probably The Gift.

For me, it captured the essence of the show. The dialogue was amazing: her talk with Giles about killing Angel and missing her mom, her speech to Dawn on the tower, and Anya and Xanders proposal. Not to forget Spikes comments to Buffy about protecting Dawn. Hell, even Glorys speech to Dawn about how humans are nuts.

And the fight scenes were :tony:

I can not for a single second watch the final scene or her scene with Giles without crying.

YES! But I can never watch just The Gift. Its part of a trilogy imo. I consider Spiral, The Weight of the World, and The Gift to be one episode. :flutter:

Once More With Feeling, Conversations with Dead People, the last 4 episodes of Season 6 and the entirety of Season 7

for Angel it's the Beast and Angelus subplots of Season 4 (Jasmine having her own body was really is dull in comparison, Willow vs Cordelia and Faith returning were the last few exciting episodes of Seadon 4) and the last ten or so episodes of Angel Season 5

That whole season is glorious (no pun intended). ESPECIALLY Blood Ties.

Season 5 is my favorite. Perfection. Poor Riley though.

I agree with the vast majority of this.

For Angel, I enjoyed once Jasmine got her own body, however, the character acted completely different than she did when she was in Cordelia. She was legit ****ing evil in Cordelia's body, whereas, not so much as Jasmine. She was actually kind of nice. I know Tim Minear even said Jasmine wasn't really a villain. It was just the different portrayal of the same character in the same season always frustrated me.

Willow Vs Cordelia was :tony:

Faith was :tony:

You're Welcome. A Hole In The World. Shells. Not Fade Away.   Those are the highlights of Season 5 for me.

I mostly enjoyed Riley, but his misognystic side, and "cheating" on Buffy sorta brought him down on my scale.

Could be a valid reason why Xander might not want to go through with the wedding.

Yeah it was a shitty move either way but my point is that people view him as the worst character because he was the most realistic

IMO, he was a realistic asshole. Let's not forget the "kick his ass" in Season 2 (which was just glossed over in season 7, making it lose all its venom) and he doesn't even apologise for being an asshole. He's very realistic and that's what makes me hate him. He also likes to disagree with Buffy (and let's face it, as the Slayer her instincts have always been 100% right, there is really no need to constantly question such a good person). Oh and season 3 as well when she comes back from LA, guess what, Xandar is an asshole again.
