That's why she should ditch LoveGame and Telephone and perform Sinner's Prayer and Just Another Day. :whitney:

Why? This reviewer didn't like those songs either :oprah:

Oh so teog at coachella had no emotion. As she sang about death during her friends final moments of life. Ok.

But I feel like she would enjoy morr performing those live instead of LG/Telephone which she has performed a hundred million times before.:yay:

This review is quite a trip man but I really disliked all the dissing around. Specially The Cure shading. not cool at all. The song was inspired by her late friend not to boost Joanne...

Pink flamingos always fascinated me.

 It seems more like a shady review than a good one.

Anyway, I wish Gaga's next tour becomes more acoustic than this one. I adore the whole extravaganza, but I can see Gaga trying to reach a higher level with a more stripped down, rock charged concert. That's what she wants to do.This is why moments like Diamond Heart, Joanne, MR, TEOG and Angel Down seem more genuine and full of passion.

I feel she's too concerned about her pop fans that she fears to abandon her dance-pop routine. I think it's time to say good bye to PopGa, hopefully welcoming and fully embracing RockGa and AccousticGa.

I doubt it since they're an OGH :selena: They'll just spin it into Gaga performing unknown songs and the audience is dead. Gaga can never win, sadly (and for the record, I'd love for Sinner's Prayer to be included because it's great)

LA Times doing the most to criticize her and drag her as usual. Them and the NY Times do everything they can to criticize her since they know what a talent she is and they can't outright trash her.

the fact he needs to mention La Isla Bonita... he needs to reach farther for that than the distance between the US and that ****ing island

Generally ok, wtvr review. He seems to get lost in what he perceived her enjoyment to be during the larger scale segments without touching on the impact of those high energy moments on the overall production.  He says she wasn't into it- doesn't mean nothing happened. It's a big show and if he likes the piano parts that's ok but the review should at least graze the main part of the production, at least for most attendees. He's judging that she's ditching the pop routine. That's nice for the horoscopes. What about the show?

I kinda like this review cause sure they criticized her fashion but when it comes to talent and the feelings she put in her ballads,  the whole concert was worth it just to listen to her sing on a piano.

I agree. The songs this writer praised, Come to Mama, TEOG, Joanne, and MR, were truly the highlights of last nights concert for me too. They were so emotive and she was just so into them. Her at the piano is her at her best. I, of course, love the glam rock pop theatrics of Gaga, but she truly just shines on the piano and that was so evident last night.

Honestly,  almost all of the Joanne songs she performed last night, she performed with such passion. In addition to the ones mentioned above, Diamond Heart, A-YO, John Wayne (this one especially), even DIC, were performed with such great energy. That same energy wasn't there in her older stuff, especially PF, Telephone, and JD. You could tell she just wasn't as into those songs (although I was still living for it all). And I get doing a fan favorite like Bloody Mary (hearing it live made me like it more), but the crowd was just not into it, so it's an odd choice on the set list. I agree with the writer on TC too...most of the monsters in GA were into it, but idk, you could tell she just wasn't (I do enjoy it more live, but still not a song I very much like). I do disagree about BR though...she was totally into last night.

I AGREE 100%

I first fell in love with Gaga when I heard her sing with just her and the piano. I'm afraid I did not pay attention if she was into the other songs during the concert because I was busy dancing and singing along.  :rockstar:

The ballads were special during the concert cause she moved to the back where I was seated at and she was so close.  I LOVE it thazt she moved around and I got an amazing view of her singing with the piano.

Joanne is a song i sometines skip because I tend to like upbeat songs but yesterday when she sang it,  I felt like it hit me personally as I reflect what the song truly meant.  Where do I think I'm going in my life?

I SWEAR Gaga sang to my soul last night.  :diane:

Can we get a thread to put all professional reviews in? And maybe sticky it in the tour section? That way its easy to go back and not mixed with fan reviews etc? Just a thought.
