This is so sweet :diane:

Helene Oberhoff is a 77-year-old from Sarasota, Florida who’s been a fan of Lady Gaga ever since seeing her perform “The Edge of Glory” on TV during an awards show.

“I couldn’t believe how she sang and how she gave herself and I found her so dynamic, I just followed her!” Helene told HuffPost. “Every time she’s on a magazine, I bought it. I have all the concert DVDs and all the CDs.”

On Saturday, the super fan got the surprise of a lifetime: As an early birthday gift, her granddaughters Kyranna and Lilly took her to see Mother Monster in person at the Tacoma Dome in Washington, where Kyranna lives.

Gaga amazes me with how insanely diverse her fanbase is. Scrolling through the #JoanneWorldTour tag on Instagram is always amazing. Seeing little kids as young as 5 in their Gaga tshirts in one pic, and seeing an elderly couple in their Joanne tshirts swaying their hands in another video. Truly awesome

Smother Em Eh

Awwww this made me smile! I love the diversity of age groups Gaga speaks to. She speaks to all ages. Not just the average pop star who speaks to 13-21 year olds.

Love it! :golfclap:

My little boy is 4 and can sing most of her songs word for word. The washer/dryer commercial with JAD came on the other day and he looked at his dad and said listen daddy, that's "Layley Gaga" singing on there. His dad isn't a fan and rolled his eyes that he recognizes and knows her songs, I think it's awesome lmao. If I knew he wouldn't get hurt I'd take him to her concert when I go, he'd dance and sing his little butt off lol

Cute.  I'm not sure some of the language she used in past tours is appropriate for a 4 year old, tho.  I could be wrong, and I don't know about the Joanne concert.

I live outside the space time continuum.

Yeah, you're right about the language. I've got ga seats so I'm not taking him but he would love to go lol

I really hope he gets to see a Gaga concert in the future.

The language in C2C was pretty tame, but one outfit included pasties.  Gaga dresses to go with meaning of the lyrics of each song, and some of those old jazz standards are pretty risqué.

I'm sure he'll get to see her when he's a little older. The language wouldn't faze him too much (our family is very loud and a lot of them curse often) but 4 is a little young for any concert, I think. He knows most of her C2C songs too. Goody Goody is one of his favorites lol.

Wonderful!  My dad was a jazz musician who played in the big swing bands in that era.  So I was brought up on the same songs that are on C2C.  Goody Goody is catchy.  He didn't dwell much on who wrote each song, but he told me that Lush Life was written by Billy Strayhorn, and Stardust and Skylark (two of the quintessential jazz standards) were written by Hoagy Carmichael.  He said that the most important thing in jazz is the phrasing, something in which Gaga really excels.
