Ziggy 11,786
The produced version is sub-par to the Work Tape imo. Both are good, but the work tape version is the one great one as I think it matches the rawness that she wanted to achieve with the album

fede ARTPOP 6,737
Is one of her best songs...the /music/instrumental is just ...even the Work Tape is strong and beautiful. RedOne TEAM. MAYHEM / ARTPOP
Poissonche 12,365
It's definitely one of the best, if not the best for me. I don't cry often when listening to music, but that one made me a mess the first couple times I listened to it. The intro makes you weak first. And then the lyrics start being sung. And they pierce through your ****ing stomac because they're so ****ing damn real. I feel like Angel Down could become someday an important song in history; not musical history, ****ING HISTORY. It expresses a lot of the political **** we're going through, and it's gotten even worse now that ****ing Trump was ****ing elected. To me, Angel Down transcends everything Lady Gaga has ever done before. It's what I call a masterpiece.

Fernster7 7,922
I loved it upon album release but now I think I only like it. It's a great song but I feel like I love the other songs more sans Perfect Illusion and Hey Girl. Monsters never die.

After I got into it a little it actually brought me to tears. She has such a big heart and I think it comes through in the song. AND YET I still think this guy went way overboard?
