Neroneau 1,017
I wanted to be a -insert profession here- since ever I was 6! Yeah yeah this chick [Taylor Swift] is full of bullsh*t, right? (on BTW vs EY) I write with the same cord progression, not because I'm a copycat, but because I'm smart

Wtf happened when she was thirteen? I was eating Oreos on curbsides and she's a full-blown renaissance person.
beboskoukla 839
Take my hand, stay, Joanne Heaven's not ready for you Every part of my aching heart Needs you more than the angels do - If you could, I know that you'd stay We both know things don't work that way I dont know if this counts but i think its beautiful.. so heartbreaking and beautiful! I always have to cry when I listen to Joanne song... it kind of reminds me when I think that in a few years my granny could be gone.. but the song also makes me happy because for me it's the feeling that Gaga is here for me and is helping me to go through something.. she is here to comfort me.. I mean i know if my grams could stay SHE WOULD but the things don't worlk that way.. you have to accept it but yeah.. I'm happy my granny is healthy and i'll see her in 3 days on vacatrion... but with this song you tell how you wish someone could stay forever beacuse you love this person so much! it's such a beatiful soong with so many emotions... i think it's kind the most sad and most emotions filled song of Gaga... xoxo, Katarina

I was having such a good laugh with this thread and then I got to your reply and it got me. Last year when Joanne was released I remember listening to the song and I couldn't stop thinking about my mom (actually grandma but she and my grandpa raised me since I was 3. I'm 24 now) who had just been diagnosed with cancer. And I couldn't hold it, I kept thinking there would be a time when she'd be gone and it was just so heartbreaking listening to the song for the first time. Sadly, my mom's condition did not get any better and she passed away last month. I remember I visited her in the hospital about 4 days before her passing, and the doctors said there wasn't much/anything they could do. As I was going back home listening to Joanne (the song) and the feelings just kicked in, I was feeling all the words, the melodies, the passion and at that point I had no idea my mom would be gone the next Saturday. Now, I listen to the album every now and then but I try to not listen to Joanne in public because it's too much to bear. I finally understand Gaga's plead and it's just too damn real and honest. I'm sorry for this long post it just so special to me. I've loved Gaga since the very beginning but with Joanne, somehow I've felt this incredibly magical connection through these feelings. It's really helped my grieve. -------------- If you could I know that you'd stay We both know Things don't work that way I promised I Wouldn't say goodbye So I grin And my voice gets thin Pink flamingos always fascinated me.
