I decide that I don't  I know that producers matter in the making of a song, what I'm saying in this thread is that if right now there was news that Gaga is working with x producer, or y producer, with no producer at all... it wouldn't make my life any different, lol. Gaga is a free bitch, baby.

So a song is made of sounds. You understand that's the job of a producer to make them. And you've decided you don't care about producers?

Perhaps what you mean is that you don't mind what producer she works with. But I guarantee you do.

Gaga announcing she is making an album with Dr Luke for example. Or a whole album with just mutt lange. You care about what direction the music takes so therefore you care about which producers she uses.

This. Thank you so much.  I am there with you.  Would love to see her produce even more herself.  I still feel like people underestimate her producing abilities.  I'm down for a Kermit the Frog produced track lol

For me, producers help bring out the best in an artist, but when they start taking over is when It gets bad. For example, I feel like rob fusari and red one did bring out something great in Gaga. However I feel Joanne was a great departure for her and showed that she can work with anybody and still sound like Gaga. She doesn't need them as much as we all think she does. 

 

Also, I really wish Madonna's rebel heart would have had less producers, cause the reality is that she doesn't really need them either. I long for the days when it was just Madonna and Patrick Leonard. They did such amazing work together.

Let's say she did work with Dr. Puke, I wouldn't care, I mean yes he's a horrible person but his personal matters and production abilities and two separate things.
