because i want to.  does that bother u?

no, i think most people are like you.

I thought you were laughing at yourself as if to say- I wasn't watching it at the time, and it's worthless later on cause you're shouting your rendition. If so, I wondered why you do it then?

Okay so I think that it's not your problem that people are using there phones to film the show.. You enjoy for yourself and let others do what ever they want to cuz you didn't buy them a ticket. Everyone has their way of enjoying the concert. So just deal with it, or don't and stay bothered.

I agree ..its distracting for the person who films.

However, I am very glad if someone with a good camera recods the show. cuz I cant afford a ticket and I am very happy to see it on youtube. I will not have the same experiance but still see how the tour is.

Went to the born this way ball, it was magical. But now I cant...Maybe LG7 tour ;)

So thank you to all of you who film it.....<3

Hey guys,

I'm getting a bit bothered actually by the amount of cellphones turning on for filming the concert. Sure, it's for capturing a moment, but honestly it really ruins all the fun of being at a concert just filming there instead of having actually fun. :wtf:

For example this performance of DIC. Look at everyone just filming, instead of like dancing in fcking circles. It really ruins the moment and I honestly think that Gaga would be like " Oh well, I'm earning my money anyways.. "  instead of what it should be ; " Oh my god, look at my dearest fan enjoying the time of their lives!! " :wtf:

Should Gaga address this?

TBH if I went to that tour and I had stood by one of those stages,  I damn would get my phone out and take a photo. Gaga is literally 5 feet away from them. Plus in a time where social media is so prevalent, it's good that so many people are taking photos and video to put online, it maximizes the impact of the tour on pop culture.

I also used to film concerts and take lots of pictures in the past. However, I was drunk at a macklemore concert once and my battery died after 20 minutes. I had the time of my life tbh. Since then I only take a pic or 2 and a small video somewhere in the beginning and then I just put it away. But everyone should decide for themselves really

I don't think there's any reason to ban them. If other people want to film then let them, it's their enjoyment that they're affecting (whether positively or negatively). Just focus on your own enjoyment

Gaga's voiced her dislike for people being on their phones and having them out before but it's just one of those things, sometimes people want/need a picture/video for their memories and to help relive the moment. There are many other people in the audience that aren't taking pictures so yeah  We wouldn't even be able to talk about Gaga's newest tour or anything if these people weren't filming, so I'm personally very thankful that there are people that are taking the time and effort to record or take pictures and upload them online :flutter: What they've done is having a massive positive domino effect because people are more informed and can either get hyped up more or make better decisions about where to stand or which seats to get or who to go with and so on :woohoo: The positives outweigh the negatives in my opinion :laughga:

I saw Lana in San Diego on Monday and literally a guy spent the whole concert recording on a camcorder??? Like he rarely looked up and acknowledged her and managed to block my view at the same time. I love taking pics and videos for the memories, especially at Gaga's shows, but absolutely not I do not spend the whole concert doing this. Should they ban them? No. Phones are something personal and it's ultimately one's right to use them. But I do think more people need to live in the moment and spend less time trying to get a good IG pic to brag about going.

I wouldn't ban it.. it is great for memories. I don't agree with filming the ENTIRE concert. But maybe 10-20 seconds worth of Snap footage and a dozen some photos or so I agree with though. :madge:

Well I do record maybe a couple of songs and some excerpts of others because I want to remember the moment, but it's not like I pay much mind to the way I'm filming, I'm still engaged. Filming the whole thing can derail your attention though, I don't like doing it.

Thank god some people film though, imagine not having good BTWB recordings :emma:

I only took a couple of potato pictures with my phone at the BTWB and the artRAVE, I know there are going to be tons of videos of my show on YouTube so I just prefer to enjoy the moment.

One of the reasons i don't go to concerts anymore. Seeing this in front of you is just no fun and it distracts from the Show.

Yeah they definitely should, during festivals the phones ruined the best/most popular songs for me, I was very close to stage but these damn phones of people in front of me, I couldn't see well...

I won't be filming anything or taking any pics of the concert when I go, I just wanna fully live in the moment
