Even then, the majority of people here are giving Beyoncé credit for being an excellent performer and vocalist and most are saying that they both have their strengths. One Pro beyonce post that involves bashing gaga is flamebait but every negative beyonce post involves how much better gaga is? If one is bad then the other is bad and it absolutely is not balanced here. yeah i know its GGD but since when do all these people have to take down beyonce to praise Gaga? Secondly, Beyoncé doesn't get anything that any other artist doesn't get here, including Gaga. And yes, that post was clearly Flamebait on this site, especially the day after the opening show, and was made to stir up ****. There was going to be backlash. The fact of the matter is that some people don't care for Beyoncé or Taylor or Katy or Adele, etc. People have been warned and banned here for Flamebait and constant negativity over these artists. That doesn't happen at Paws Down. The whole site was set up to drag every aspect of Gaga's life, career and personal appearance...with no guidelines or rules whatsoever. Beyonce is slightly stronger and and can do more, but Gaga sings with more emotion. Beyonce has a small edge at best. Gaga is a far far far better musician. Her visuals in concert are better but Beyonce does well too. Unfortunately to the general public musicianship means nothing in terms of ability of a performer. Dancing, vocals, stage presence, and visuals are what counts. It's why Beyonce is considered the top. The best Gaga could hope for is being considered the 1b to Beyonce's 1a. Sadly, during the 2000s it was Gaga who was considered the best performer. Beyonce really improved while Gaga remained the same or regressed arguably. Lately I've been hard pressed to pick the better. Had this been 2009-2012 I would've said gaga in a heartbeat, but had it been 2013-2016 I would've said Bey in a heartbeat. 2017 they've been pretty equal IMO I’m a simple guy to please, if you like Melodrama, we chill. My best friend who is a Beyoncé fan went to the formation tour twice (she had bought tickets herself and then went with a friend last minute because someone else couldn't go) and she said that it was literally the exact show down to the second. There was no ad-lib or anything. And the things she though were spontaneous the first time she saw it, were repeated the second time she saw it. She was so let down. So I definitely think Beyoncé is a good performer but only if you see her once, Gaga brings it every-time, but in a different way. Also in an unrelated note- When ever anyone brings up Gaga being a better performer/artist than Beyoncé, I always remember that time Beyoncé lied about writing Irreplaceable and how she went into so much detail about it being about an ex-lover who cheated on her, only for it to be leaked online that it was written by Ne-yo. I think this hits the nail on the head for this thread and shows the key difference - adaptability. Beyonce is what she is because the structuring of her performances is very rigid and consistent.
