I noticed quite a few sections of Staples Center that were empty when I saw her in LA. They seemed to be the front sections, so I would imagine these were scalped tickets. I was kind of surprised considering it was the first night of what I believed was a sold out show.

It was not made up. Tickets were discounted in Brazil and days before the concert they were handing out tickets for free. On the day of the concert in Rio de Janeiro they were letting anyone get in without a ticket.

Most of it was made up, but you keep holding on to your hope for failure...which didn't happen.

Henny I was at that concert lol. I saw everything. I called friends to tell them to come to the arena because they were handing out free tickets and enjoyed the concert with them.

But when is Gagz gonna get her Sticky and Sweet Tour? I want 408 million from 85 dates for JWT!!!

I still can't believe M pulled that off with 1 successful single (4 minutes) during Economic Crisis.

Apart from being one of the highest grossing tours ever, S&S was the 2nd highest grossing tour/date ever after U2's 360 Tour.

It was an awful period to be a LM, to see all the hate that she got.. like some people even said that she broke her hip on purpose so she'll have a good excuse to end the show..:nails:

Yes, in Brazil. I'm brazilian and I remember that the tickets were way too expensive for a lot of ppl to buy + they putted her in really big places (for 84 thousand ppl in Rio, 25 in Porto Alegre and 67 thousand in São Paulo) and didn't get the public everyone was expecting. There was a lot of contests and giveaways at the time, they did a "sale" of tickets (pay for one and take two) and a lot of haters made fun of it. Rumor has it that the concerts gave T4F (the company that brought her) a financial loss.

Gaga sold around 50 thousand tickets in SP, 16 in Porto Alegre and 40 in Rio.

umm, I think it's not really. Gags done very well back in Asia when she kicked off the show in Seoul, i still remember the night, and then she came to my country and brought some special & different things for the audiences every single nights. She's truly amazing artist that i have ever seem b4, her team was sooo excellent too. anyway I love everything from the tour: the aesthetics, the gothic castle, the wigs & makeup, the choreography & dancers, it was everything for me, that's one of the most outstanding tour of all time (i think) :kara:

It was a false rumour. I attended the Manchester date and it was packed solid and I remember posts and photos about how there were empty blocks. But it wasn't true.

She didn't sell as much as capacity in South America, thats due to tickets being too expensive for those countries. Europe/Australia/Asia was all sold out along with most of North America.

I have no clue what happened on some of the US dates though, they said sold out so I don't know if they just were really bad at estimating how many people the floor could fill with the stage set up. This was in Tacoma.

Which LA show "flopped"? I went to the January 20th show, and it was completely stocked. Like, barely room to move.

3 points in and ready for more
