Did the BTWB flop on some shows?

When she was touring for BTWB people were saying the tour wasn't doing as good as expected.  Not nearly successful as TMB.  People were posting pics of half empty arenas.  There was a video where sections of an arena were empty.  Fans were saying they got moved to closer areas because they needed to fill up the lower sections.  Reports of people getting into the show for free just to fill up seats.  Was all this true?  I went to the first Vegas show and a good chunk of the arena wasn't filled.

If the tour wasn't that great successfully, how come the Artrave was so successful?  The ARTPOP era wasn't nearly as successful as the BTW era.

If I remember correctly, Russia had some issues with people leaving early. And some of the South American dates were a little less successful. But those are the only things I can remember.

BTWB was still VERY successful though. Even more so than the artrave tbh.

Wasn't that PawsDown and from the neurotics at MNation? It was all a bunch of BS made up by haters and bitter fans of others.

If I remember correcty, this was just a part of the media tearing Gaga down. I think she sold out almost every show except for a few.

This is also supposed to work in with the conspiracy theory Gaga never broke her hip in the first place and faked it because her show was failing.

many latin american countries were not as filled. when I went a big chunk of the stadium was empty (it still was decently filled, the tickets were too expensive for the market value here)

It only "flopped" in South America. But BTWB was a huge success. 183.9 million from 98 dates. Like... :lolga:

Not really "flopped" but there was a 30% of tickets unsold

I was checking out numbers and this isn't bad at all (Latin America):

I guess it looked "bad" when you look at the arena/stadiums pictures, but the gross and attendance is pretty decent.

it did flop for some shows but so did the artrave, even more so. Artrave had entire sections covered with curtains to hide empty seats. I think JWT is her must full one since TMB

It was not made up. Tickets were discounted in Brazil and days before the concert they were handing out tickets for free. On the day of the concert in Rio de Janeiro they were letting anyone get in without a ticket.
