Hey :poot:

anyways what are you guys's:stalkga: opinions on what the storyline of the JWT is?

Mine is that it starts off with an interlude of Gaga saying "don't call me Gaga... call me JOANNE!" and she's wearing the pink hat. She takes a journey through the story of Joanne, also signified of the interlude of Gaga inhaling oxygen (FAME), in those moments she becomes the Lady Gaga we all know and love, then splits back into reality (Joanne), having fun with her friends etc. In the final song, Million Reasons, she finishes by leaving the Joanne pink hat on the chair, saying "goodbye" to the story of Joanne, as Lady Gaga falls down into the floor, thus ending the story of Joanne.

What do you guys think?  :giggle:

btw it's my 20th birthday today :poot:

PSYCHOSHTICK

I kinda feel like the days of storylines and deep artistic meanings behind visuals or performances are kind of over...

Not trying to be sour or something, just feel like she's just more trying to put up a nice pop show instead of an theatric art installation. (Except for maybe the oxygen interlude)

The entire storyline of the tour to me is Gaga vs. Joanne. A constant tug of war during the show where she goes from one to another and back. I honestly love it and maybe as time goes on she'll add more and make it even better.

Lady Gaga is a legend and you will deal with it

I don't think there is exactly a storyline but it has a recurrent thing about how fame was bad to her and her identity struggle as she inner battles to see if she's Gaga or Joanne, as she finds out she's none, she's "just a young woman"

If you see me posting like crazy, I'm either bored or procrastinating.

This. Her dying (or whatever happens) during Paparazzi proves it.

Also the interludes, specially the walls crushing her one

Hmmm maybe the artRAVE wasn't cryptic but I think it's clear the interludes this time do have a message behind them

Yeah! And how she transforms from JoanneGa to the staple crazy Gaga during the interlude before Bad Romance.  It all makes sense too, considering she’s said Joanne is her middle name, and the album represents the middle of the Gaga we all know and love and Stefani the girl from New York.
