Sure, it may not be innovative or theatrical but it fit the theme that was promised in the poster (Music, Fashion, Dance, Party). It's meant to be messy and fun. It was the highlight of the ARTPOP era and it was executed without any missteps which was a relief after ARTPOP. I went to 2 shows and it was truly an experience. In GA you could almost touch her on the catwalks and the set list was amazing (except it needed a little more BTW). The visuals were colorful and exciting. The main stage was just okay but the catwalks made up for it. You really needed to be there to get the full effect. Everyone at the show was loving it. Vocals and choreography were on point. Her speeches were beautiful and genuine. People like to make cheap jokes about the raver girl outfit but it really did fit the theme.
