If Hymn does get the official single treatment, I'd be a little bummed. I really love both Woman and Learn to Let Go (and of course Praying, which deserved lead single status). I'll have to listen to Hymn a few more times, but it's my least favorite of what she's released. The way it was rolled out though (it was supposed to come out two weeks ago) and lack of video and more official cover art makes me feel like it is going to be a single in the near future... Learn To Let Go has the qualities of a hit song. It's relatable to everyone, pretty good lyrics, and serves vocals. Saddly if her team didn't consist of Dr. Luke, this could be her 21 era. Love how current the sound is, but how different it also is from everything else out at the moment. I think streaming will determine whether it can repeak on the BB hot 100. Sales are doing pretty good and radio play is improving by the day but it's still barely top 40 on Spotify and it's not doing as well on YouTube. The m/v is only at 26m and isn't getting even half a million views most days. Kesha needs the streaming if she wants top 10 hit. Some real promo would be helpful as well.
