That original version of the Gaga brand burned her out physically and mentally. Fans had the 24/7 show for almost 5 years, it's beyond time to let that go. Agree with this though 100%, she clearly was not happy and it was taxing on her. I much prefer her safeguarding her health and happiness over living to please her fans. ❤ x ❤
TRYMCNL 143
I feel the same exact way. I logged back in the other day to see stuff about the tour, but after Joanne she just seemed really different and I lost interest. I might buy last minute tickets to this tour because it would just feel weird considering I've been to every tour since The Fame Ball lol.

I'll make sure next time that I do an official census of Lady Gaga fans before I make a statement regarding what is already well known. Now who seem "cold"? No need for a census. All you have to do is realize that Gaga has more than 200-300 fans and that even on GGD, we have varying wishes for genres for Gaga to explore. Some want her to stay the same, some want to hear different sides of her artistry. Usually, there is a little something to make most people happy. I'm not at that point you are at yet but I think I'm getting there. For me it is for different reasons. For me it's the fact that it seems she may have lost her drive for visuals. only 5 pop mvs in 6 years is uncomprehendable to me. Only Adele out of her contemporaries has done that and it is because Adele was never about visuals. Everyone else makes more mvs (and as of recently better ones). The only thing holding me to her still is my nostalgia but also the music. I (unlike yourself) adore the music on Joanne (most of it). So I guess this is why I have not reached your point yet. But I 100% understand why you are there. Hopefully LG6 (which will probably come late 2019 or early 2020 so we still have a long way to go) is more to your liking I 100% get you. Gaga (beside of music itself) has always attracted me because of her visual. Everything was an event : the music videos, the TV performances, the fashion she would put on in the streets, the magazines covers. And I really loved that. You couldn't have a week without something interesting ! Nowadays we barelly have interesting MV, we barelly have TV performances, we don't have fashion in the street and we don't have magazines. A month can pass without any news from Gaga, without any interesting stuff. And I really miss that

The fanbase is all over the place...from wanting rock to disco to R&B to ballads. Gaga can't please everyone and that should never be her goal anyhow as an artist. Then I guess she should've just put all of those genres in one album. None of us wanted country music...

Jed 7,716
literally no pop star promotes things the way it used to be so being upset that there weren't a buttload of tv spots and interviews isn't a gaga thing it's an everyone thing
