Can you stop with "I wanted original album"

Every era people start saying, why did Gaga scrap the original album? I prefered the original concept. But the reality is that there really is no such thing as an original album. The albums we got are it. If Gaga did not include some songs she mentioned it's because they were either not good enough for her, where not finished, or will be saved for a later time. If Gaga mentions concepts for future albums, they are just quick thoughts and nothing more. If artists say they were going to work with Gaga, then they were probably quick little talks, like " hey we should work together some day". I don't think Gaga has really ever scrapped an almost complete body of work in favor of a different thing. She may have many good unreleased songs but she has said that those were just for her and her friends and we're never part of an actual concept and or commercial release. I think many here just like to believe that Gaga at one point was going to release something they wanted her to release.

i totally agree!  

granted the albums have original concepts/ideas/sounds and i'm more than interested to hear those that were cut and other behind the scene works since i know creativity can evolve very quickly but people need to stop saying they wish they had the "original" LG5  

Joanne is the original LG5, there was nothing promised before Joanne and some of y'all act like she had promised she was gunna deliver something she didn't

I agree. 

Frankly, it's annoying when people keep saying "Where are the 8 RedOne tracks?! Why can't we hear those?" or "I wish we got those RedOne tracks instead of Joanne!" It's bothersome because while it's always nice to see more from Gaga, downplaying Joanne and being like, "I'd rather have those RedOne bops than Joanne" can be really annoying.

Yeah, they recorded 8 tracks, but they could have just been 8 random tracks that she thought were good. We literally know nothing about those other tracks besides the fact that RedOne and her worked on them together, nothing! 

Of course, it'd be interesting to see the creative process and see how things evolve and change, but people gotta stop with the "Where is the original LG5 music??" stuff. Things happen and you can't just say that she just had a whole album but was like, No nevermind, we'll try something else. That's just how the creative process works.

when Mark Ronson himself stated that they had no direction planned and started a few days after they met up while Gaga had met with some five to six other collaborators who shared similar concepts/genre, this just doesn't hold true

People want was supposed to be the actual LG5 because she worked on that one the most.  She was working with RedOne and Nile.  Wasn't she inspired by her role in AHS when making LG5?  It seems like it was going to be pretty dark.  Joanne seemed like last minute.  Still a very impressive album since it was done at the last minute.  I just remember RedOne saying he would only work with her again if they had the magic like they did when they did TF and TFM.

Didn't she say there were songs inspired by her character on American Horror Story: Hotel? And there were also rumored song titles like "Blood" that support this. But tbh it sounds like a bad song so maybe it was for the better

The way some of you are talking, it's like you believe she had a full and complete album ready to hit the shelves and then she just decided out of the blue to scrap it, work with someone new, and create an album dedicated to her aunt and her own story

Concepts were thrown around, song demos were made, but that's most likely as far as anything got before Joanne
