Chad-3 1
What do you mean three albums left? She has a record deal in which she is already signed off to do 3 more albums. Once the deal ends she can choose to resign and stay or leave to another label.
ABOVETHETREND 2
All of Gaga's eras produced big hits, I don't think that's really the debate.. After the next 3 albums, she might not be with Interscope. And then what? No more Gaga? Why would they drop their biggest succes In so long?
Admin 24,441
Because they're only here for the "gaga is slaying" ride. Quantity of number one singles >>> quality of singles. According to this fanbase It's not even that.. I understand why people care about their artist's success.. it's kind of a part of being a "superfan". but it seems to me that most posters here only see success in number one singles and airplay which in fact doesn't mean much. you can score number ones one after another and be a Katy perry or you can be out of charts and still be on top of the game like Gaga and her team are
ABOVETHETREND 2
It sounds like he's been saying what I've been saying all Along.. IT'S TOO EARLY FOR ANOTHER ALBUM!!! Besides that he sounds like a twit.
Americano 31,061
And then what? No more Gaga? Why would they drop their biggest succes In so long? No, she can renew her contract or go to a different label..
kupo 201
And then what? No more Gaga? Why would they drop their biggest succes In so long? They almost certainly won't drop her, but Gaga's so huge that she'll probably be able to negotiate her own terms. And if Interscope doesn't want to meet her terms, it will be up to her if she wants to go somewhere else.

rivingtonrebels 245
I just watched the whole thing...it seems like her management thinks Gaga now has a solid, but very niche audience (probably mostly due to the BTW album) so they want to connect with her superfans all over the world and make lifelong fans out of them. It was ****ing weird that he said she hasn't 'made it' yet. That's such bull****. It's not like she's still riding on Just Dance. She's not a one hit wonder. ABOVETHETREND 2
I hate talking about Gaga In a business sense. It's awkward scary, and takes the meaning out of it all.

All he was saying is that he sees a lot more potential in her and thinks she could be even bigger than she is now. He wasn't discrediting his own artist and saying she's a one-hit wonder. kupo 201
I hate talking about Gaga In a business sense. It's awkward scary, and takes the meaning out of it all. Well, in that sense, I think what's being said here is positive: Interscope clearly wants another album out already, but Gaga's moving more on her own schedule. And Troy admits that BTW is a long album cycle, but stands by that declaring it all part of the "story-telling."
