"the entire era" even though ive only been actively posting for the past month or two :awkney:

You still bitching about that comment or are you actually going to acknowledge my relatively innocuous advice to log out and pick it up again next time. Is something wrong with you, did I hit a nerve or something, are you having a bad day? :oprah:

It just seems lazy and assumption-based to say that I've been dragging her the entire era. There was no research done to make that comment, and it seems like the most basic shade that literally any user can post on any thread even if they've never actually seen the poster before. :oprah: I'm not offended at the phrase itself, I'm offended at the inaccuracy and failed drag attempts.

It's non an attempt at shade sweetheart but rather an accurate inference based on recent posts and the actual title of the thread itself. Should I quote that for you to make you feel any better?  :awkney:

Furthermore you still haven't mentioned or acknowledged the bulk of my initial comment which was just to look forward to future projects and tours, but since it seems like this isn't going anywhere I'm going to respectfully bow out. :classy: Good luck in the next era sweetheart

I think its a disgrace against her career that "The Cure" was released when she has "Deep Blue".

I mean, this is all subjective. I could argue your points (Perfect Illusion is a great song, her looks have been consistent, etc.) but it's just my opinion v. your opinion and that's pointless isn't it?

A disgrace to her career? Take a Xanax. The Cure is a song rejected from a film, while Deep Blue is a song left off an album. Huge difference, especially in terms of timing. At the end of the day, many artists do not like releasing songs left off their album as they view it as unfinished or inadequate.

John Wayne, one of the best songs in her entire career, did not get the single treatment it deserved, and ended up being the only instance where I enjoyed a visual this era.

I'm tired of people complaining that their favorite song did not become a single. Get over it. I love Diamond Heart with a passion and while it's not a single, it exists and I own it and I can listen to it 20,000 times if I choose. That's enough for me. Your favorite song got an incredible surprise video. Give it some VEVO views rather than complaining about it not being a single here.

I despise the fact that she's paid dust at both the SB and the JWT to ARTPOP, which is easily her best album. I hate that "Scheisse" got a tour placement when both "Government Hooker" and "Sinner's Prayer" exist. I love Scheisse but omg. The setlist was all over the place, and it seems like she literally just put her playlist on shuffle and said "ok, lets do that order".

Ignoring the pink hat comment, Lady Gaga paid dust to BTW during Artrave. Not only that, but ARTPOP's lack of use has nothing to do with Joanne. The Superbowl had one Joanne song. It's clear her set lists are being heavily dominated by hear early career hits and this was even the case during Artrave. In some ways, you have a point here, but it's so misdirected at this 'era'. This has been a Gaga issue prior to Joanne. One way you don't have a point: the set list is not all over the place. You cannot deny that it was well thought out. Mind boggling that you think it's as good as random.

I hate that she used "Come to Mama", when it combined with "Posh Life" are this sound that don't fit her at all, don't compliment her voice, and she can just not make it sound good. Father John Misty has a voice that can make "Come to Mama" work. Gaga doesn't and never will. Her voice can suit literally any other genre/sound though.

She sounds fine and plenty of fans love the song.

I hate this whole croptop hillbilly aesthetic shes had the past year. I'm probably never gonna find the JWT stage pretty, cause it isn't.

The aesthetic isn't even entirely country (or hillbilly as you call it). The JWT can be as ugly as it needs, I think it's awesome that allowing more space for fans and offering all seats a nice view was a priority.

At the end of the day, I still support her and will continue to check for her when she has new music coming out, but I just really ****ing hate this era. I do. :selena:

I get disappointment and wanting more, but for myself and plenty of others...the Joanne Era truly delivered, not unlike her previous eras. We got amazing live performances, a solid aesthetic, a great album, and hit single. Complaining about it is really just going to either drag the era down for other people, start discourse, or make you loathe the era even worse. It's not going to change the era and I really don't anticipate getting an era like this again.

Fun Fact: I thought the title said 'Joanne era is everything I ever needed' and I was rushed in to give the OP praise.

The era was just fine!

Her Super Bowl and now The Joanne Show Are Great!

But I still can't believe that Sinner's Prayer is not  on the tour tracklist .
