Lana Del Rey is an artist that almost the entire award system snubs. She's not nominated for anything regardless of how she does and its really annoying, because its not like shes unheard of.

But this is London, and Europe doesnt seem to have the problem America does about recognizing her

People were suspecting that she was being snubbed because of her views on feminism, especially the Grammys. But I don't know if that would still reign true since she has said her views on the topic have changed immensely

Also Lana was supposed to get a nomination for Young and Beautiful at The Oscars, but someone had sent in fake letters saying something like the song wasn't released in time and was therefor not eligible for nomination. Obviously this was untrue, and some say that it was a behind the scenes effort to make sure she didn't win or get a nomination.
