Harry 26,836
Tbh I've seen this a lot with gigs. Where they say beforehand that they will check credit cards and/or photo IDs. I think it's so they look like they are doing their best to fight touts re-selling tickets at unfair prices. But when they have to get literally THOUSANDS of people through the door in a pretty short space of time, do you really think the little people working on the door really care about checking credit card numbers up against each and every ticket? I'm sure some places do actually do it, but I've never seen it.
hELXIG 43,030
If this is their attempt at stopping scalpers it's really f.ucke up imo, because it only punishes and affects the die-hard fans who buy the tickets second hand, and the scalpers still get all the money and aren't stopped at all. I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin.

Bling 31,385
I have to say, the whole Credit Card Entry thing is a mess. I bought the tix back in February and my card was stolen since then. I called ticketmaster shortly after (after numerous emails) and was told I would be fine, I just needed to go to the "resolution counter" at the event and they would fix the problem. Months later, I called back because I was uneasy about it. Finally after being transferred twice, they updated my card information. #Mess !

They do realize not everyone bought their own tickets, so why implement this? It plainly stated this on ticketmaster when tickets went on sale, so not sure why everybody is surprised. anybody knows you can conjure anything by the dark of the moon
bitchimtrying 2,495
They usually do this when they know that fake tickets have been made.

I bought mine from a reseller and since it's in Spain, it's in Spanish so I don't know what's written exactly on the ticket, so I have no idea
