Officials: N. Korea can hit most of USA

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - North Korea's latest test of an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) has shown that Pyongyang now may be able to reach most of the continental United States, two U.S. officials told Reuters on Monday. 

The assessment, which the officials discussed on condition of anonymity, underscored the growing threat posed by Pyongyang's nuclear and missile programs, and could add pressure on President Donald Trump's administration to respond.

My post still applies, and this test was only one of few successful tests which would need to be repeatable. The US, China, and Russia have literal supersonic technology as well as other speed based projectile and protection systems which can not only take out a base of operations, but is also near or at the level of ability to stop a missile midflight. This is being watched closely, not by just Trump, but people who actually know what they are doing, and the situation is being looked at by all countries to weigh options.

It isn't North Korea you have to worry about, it is Russia and possibly China, but China has the space to be the first to step in because North Korea is the gate to China, anything warfare based happening on that land would be a threat to China, which they would have to either allow under concessions to then take the land for themselves after the government is gone or step in on Korea themselves and spank them. Actual World War is not something that any country actively wants except maybe Russia lol.

Thank you for posting this! It's very easy to just be scared and think that the US could be gone tomorrow, but if we know about this information there are definitely people ready to take care of it lol

I think we all need to remember there is SO much military technology we don't see possessed by America and our allies along with so much intercontinental law in place that if one country were to launch an attack that country would be at the helm of all other country's in that agreement. If North Korea or any other country are to launch an attack, there's gonna be things in place to shut it down
