The UK (thankfully) isn't in Schengen so you need a passport to leave/enter the UK regardless of your mode of transport. The EU are so stubborn that they're right and everyone else is wrong that they will never change. They have told many countries to 'vote again' in national elections regarding legislation as they voted against the EU. You are wrong. In France the president who won, created a new party. He was like so alone, and in the beggining he was just a movement. He won against Le Pen. Socialists (the biggest party this election) called for the people to not vote at all or vote white.
