Lmao Million Reasons alone shits on half of that album. :toofunny:I'm done here because there's no point in this and I only posted because people have to compare Joanne to everything and it's annoying.

I'm sorry,I didn't know about the alcohol and cheating stuff.Again I'm sorry,Bye,Lana is amazing

Here was the quote about her alcoholism taken from Wikipedia:

"I was a big drinker at the time. I would drink every day. I would drink alone. I thought the whole concept was so f*****g cool. A great deal of what I wrote on Born to Die is about these wilderness years. When I write about the thing that I've lost I feel like I'm writing about alcohol because that was the first love of my life. My parents were worried, I was worried. I knew it was a problem when I liked it more than I liked doing anything else. I was like, 'I'm f****d. I am totally f****d'. Like, at first it's fine and you think you have a dark side – it's exciting – and then you realise the dark side wins every time if you decide to indulge in it. It's also a completely different way of living when you know that... a different species of person. It was the worst thing that ever happened to me."

Sounds like the stuff Gaga said about addicted to cocaine, right? She's had hard times in her life and there's been heavy suggestion before that she was hit by a boyfriend but she found it romantic and was basically emotionally manipulated by him: "He hit me but it felt like a kiss," and considering that the song was called Ultraviolence, well...Her entire Ultraviolence album suggests that she was going through a very deep depression at the time and I think splitting up with Barrie James O'Neill really affected her in 2014. She's been through a lot and she wrote a diss track because she was frustrated at not making it as a singer (even though the song was leaked in 2013, it was written some years ago, when Gaga had just started becoming famous and Lana was still a nobody). I think she wrote it after someone on her management left to go work for Gaga or something and that's kinda way the song was called I'm So Legit because she was essentially saying "Why are you leaving me behind, the real deal, to work for some generic pop star?" Remember that when Gaga started out, we hadn't seen the true extent of her talent, a lot of people didn't realise that she could sing or play piano or even write her own songs. So, Lana likely assumed the worst of her like everyone else, didn't do her research and made a diss track out of frustration. Timelines, situation and context matters. That's why, all things considered, I was able to let it go.

But I'll forgive you for not realising all this stuff. Lana is a very private person and hasn't spilled all on the finer details of her life, so she's quite an enigma that requires extensive research to really pin down who she is and what she's about. Lana's made a bit too harsh a judgement on Gaga without knowing her and it's safe to say that others have made judgements about her without knowing her well either. Just perhaps research before talking negatively about someone else again?

Happy for her! While her music isn't necessarily my cup of tea, it's good to see a female artist at the #1 spot. :) Because I'm not here for the 90% of the charts consisting of male rappers tbh :awkney:

the albums are different genres anyway so it's pointless to compare

Only talent wins. Sorry Honeymoon. You can't relate with albums like Ultraviolence and LFL which also went #1.:nails:
