i don't think we live in a society that can claim ignorance anymore. If you type in a few letters in Google and you can have a whole history on all sorts of issues. Bigoted I do agree with. Willfull ignorance is much different than ignorance because it demonstrates lack of empathy and lack of empathy is scary.

Only around 63M voted for Trump. A good fraction say they would still support him if convicted of a crime according to polls. So no, not all Trump supporters are bad people. Many were actually Dems who voted for him. But none of this excuses such anti-trans behaviors.

-Banning Transgendered from serving in military

Please, tell me exactly how transgender people are privilege, not in the military, but just in general, because unless I'm living in an alternate dimension, transgender people are not privileged whatsoever.

They're not genderfluid people, the're not just like "Oh okay, so today I'll choose to be a man". They are transgender because they identify as one gender, yet are the other. It's not like they put genders into a slot machine or something. It's their identity, they just don't simply pick them.

Yeah, I'm sure there will be some people who will feel uncomfortable, but how about you educate that person and say "hey, just because I'm transgender doesn't make me any less human. It's just who I am, and I'd like you to respect me for that". If a transgender individual is willing to fight and die for our country, then what's the deal if they're transgender. Just because it makes some people "uncomfortable", how about we go back to the World War II and talk about people like the Tuskegee Airmen—who were African-American—and talk about how even though many people felt uncomfortable with them in the military, they managed to do some of the most amazing things.

Males and females are biologically different. Which means transgender have to rely on hormones to perform on same levels as their peers, or have genetic advantage if they're born male. So yes, if you factor that in, it is a privilege to incur such extra costs and accept anomalies simply because of 'identity'. It seems perfectly logical to just draft soldiers according to the sex which they are born in.

In military your identity is simply your rank and your duty,  you can to leave your own identity in civilisation because there is no use for that under operations. Nobody is restricting anybody from pursuing their ideals outside military.

Then what about the transgender men and women serving in the military now? It doesn't seem like a huge problem because they seem to be serving in our military just fine.

Being in the military also just doesn't mean you're a soldier. They could be doctors, engineers, etc. etc. it's not just being a soldier. So then, how is being transgender going to affect someone's ability to become a doctor or engineer?

And, if everyone has to "leave their identity in civilization", then why does it matter? If you're all one in the same, then you're all one in the same, transgender, gay, straight, cis or whatever.

Aww thanks a million! I live a relatively simple and easygoing life, all things considered, so it's odd to remember times when I fought for what I had because I don't really do that as much anymore. Idk if it's brave to be public on an internet forum but I do know it's not easy to step outside not knowing if people think I'm biologically female or not. And it's not easy to look at literally any comments section and see people call transgender individuals freaks. I talk because I feel like I need to step in and say something for the sake of trans people.
