Rock has not been doing well in recent years, sadly. Thirdly, I would just be happy if Gaga released metal covers of her previous songs. Yeah, they have some hard pop thrown on them but the melodies are so classic Springsteen anthemic as are a lot of the lyrics (minus the gypsy hook and the country naming). I'd say you could also make a fair bet with Yoü and I, again, if you listen to the version before the album dropped. I think Diamond Heart is fine but is more firmly in the pop rock lane meanwhile the other songs I listed meander closer (emphasis on closer; they're still Gaga) to something The Boss would do. Queen and Springsteen with some Sting or a little Motown depending upon who she works with. Every song of hers that has had some rock element or has been originally performed as a classic stadium power ballad draws from those inspirations.
