Have to agree there, the song and video are nothing short of a masterpiece, but I don't think it was a good single choice. I've always imagined that Highway Unicorn would've been a good choice in its place (most of you are probably like: , while reading this). I agree it is both uplifting and empowering but is tinged with sadness and despair. It's real and raw. I couldn't have said it better myself The vocals are some of her most emotional and expressive, and the powerful, crashing instrumental with the bells is so triumphant while also giving a sense of mourning... I really wonder how things would have turned out had it been the lead single like it was supposed to originally.
